The Esophagus cancer is a disease where cells that lined the esophagus change. The cells can also grow out of control and in the long run, gets the form of tumor.  The accumulation of the abnormal cells forms the tumor and makes the patient feel suffering. There are two types of cancer:
Squamous cell carcinomas affect the squamous cells and are usually within the middle third of the esophagus. The cell can be described as thin, flat cells that are lined on the inner surface of the mid-portion of the esophagus.

Second is Adenocarcinoma of the esophagus which suffers the lower third of the esophagus. This cancer is caused by the glandular cells that are found in the area of the esophagus.

Some of the rarest forms of cancer that can affect the esophagus which includes lymphoma, sarcoma choriocarcinoma, melanoma, and even small cell cancer.

There are many factors that cause the irritation in the cells of your esophagus and also increases the risk of esophageal cancer includes:
  • Smoking
  • Being obese
  • Drinking alcohol
  • Having Bile reflux
  • People face difficulty in swallowing
  • Unable to take sufficient fruits and vegetables etc.
